Billie Eilish questioned “why are we even doing this” while writing ‘Barbie’ track

Billie Eilish has opened up about the writing process behind her song for the Barbie soundtrack , ‘What Was I Made For?’ . Released in July, the track was written by Eilish alongside her brother and collaborator Finneas . It appears in Greta Gerwig’s 2023 hit Barbie film, which also features songs from the likes of Lizzo , Dua Lipa , Haim and Tame Impala . J Hus and Burna Boy have been announced as the headliners for the inaugural Afro Nation Nigeria, happening later this year. READ MORE: Burna Boy live in London: the Afrobeats juggernaut’s moment of history Earlier this month, it was announced that Afro Nation Nigeria will take place on December 19 and 20 this year at Lagos’ Tafawa Balewa Square. This will be the second time Afro Nation has been held in Africa – last December, it was staged in Ghana. Yesterday (September 26), the festival revealed the first acts on the 2023 line-up, confirming Burna Boy and J Hus as the headliners. The writers’ strike shuttered production on TV shows and films and caused late-night comedy shows in the US to go on hiatus.
