2ManyDJs soundtrack Netflix’s new Vincent Cassel film ‘Banger’ – check out the theme song
2ManyDJs have provided the soundtrack for Netflix‘s new film starring Vincent Cassel, Banger. Check out the theme song below.
The film marks the debut from So Me (Bertrand de Langeron) and was given a global release on the streaming platform on Wednesday (April 2). Centred around an iconic DJ who starts to realise that his career is in decline, the lead role is taken on by Vincent Cassel.
It has been confirmed that 2ManyDJs composed all of the original music for the film, including the theme song, and tracks called ‘Dans Le Lab’ and ‘Dans Le Club’.
The Belgian duo – consisting of brothers Stephen and David Dewaele – were asked to provide the music by So Me, and the music they provided acts as the hits made by the fictional DJ ‘Scorpex’, and “walk the tightrope between satire and sincerity — mirroring the film’s absurdist deep-dive into DJ culture, fame, and the desperate pursuit of one last hit.”

Produced by Iconoclast, the movie marks the debut film by So Me and comes with a cast including Cassel, Laura Felpin, Alexis Manenti, Mister V, Déborah Lukumuena, Nina Zem, Nicolas Maury, Philippe Katerine, Kavinsky, Paul Mirabel, Panayotis Pascot, Manu Payet, and Alice Moitié.
A description of the plot reads: “Scorpex (Vincent Cassel) is a legendary DJ in decline, seemingly the only one unaware that his glory days are behind him.
“When Rose (Laura Felpin), an eccentric agent from the DGSI (French intelligence agency), offers him the chance to take down the trendy, up-and-coming Vestax (Mister V), Scorpex sees it as his shot at a comeback – with a banger.”
In other 2ManyDJs news, back in 2022 the Dewaele brothers, who are also members of Soulwax and run the DEEWEE record label, opened up to NME about the legacy of their ‘As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt.2′ mix and what it was like to have David Bowie as a fan.
“It’s still weird that we talk about Bowie as if we’d known him but we only met him once,” Stephen said of the latter. “It’s pretty crazy, even now. He was even on the forum on our little website as ‘David Bowie’ asking us questions, and we thought he was someone else!
“When we met him, Dave asked him how much time he spent on the internet and he replied, ‘Don’t you see I’m on your forum all the time?’ It seems like such a weird world now.”
