Oasis announce third and final Melbourne show due to “phenomenal demand”

Oasis have added another show to their 2025 Australia tour dates, to take place in Melbourne. Find ticket details below.

The dates down under will be part of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s first run of live shows together since 2009 next summer, following on from their announcement of their long-awaited comeback earlier this summer.

The dates kick off with a huge run of stadium gigs in the UK and Ireland. From there, the Britpop band are due to head to North America before returning for two extra dates at London’s Wembley Stadium in late September.

Earlier this month, they confirmed their return to Australia, which will take place in late October and early November. They initially announced two shows: one in Melbourne and one in Sydney. This was later extended with an extra show for each of those cities due to “phenomenal” demand.

Now, taking to social media this morning (October 15), Oasis have confirmed another date has been added. This is another show in Melbourne, set to take place on Tuesday November 4.

“Due to phenomenal demand, a third and final Melbourne date has been added,” reads the caption. “If you weren’t successful in the initial pre-sale ticket ballot, you might have another chance!”

Tickets for this date go on sale this Friday (October 18). Visit here to buy tickets, and find an updated list of Australia tour dates below.

Oasis’ ‘Live ’25’ Australia tour dates are:

OCTOBER
31 – Melbourne – Marvel Stadium

NOVEMBER
1 – Melbourne – Marvel Stadium
4 – Melbourne – Marvel Stadium [NEW]
7 – Sydney – Accor Stadium
8 – Sydney – Accor Stadium

The announcement of the international tour dates came after NME exclusively revealed that Oasis would be playing in Sydney and Melbourne last month.

Sources close to the band and tour also told NME in the report that further international dates are set to be announced for cities including Seoul (South Korea), Tokyo (Japan), São Paulo (Brazil), Santiago (Chile) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).

The band previously confirmed that their 2025 UK and Ireland dates would be the only European shows of their comeback tour. They later told fans that plans were “underway” for further performances around the globe.

Oasis have ruled out a headline performance at Glastonbury 2025 and said they won’t be appearing at any other festivals next summer. Liam and Noel have shot down rumours of a return to Knebworth in 2026 too.

Ahead of the comeback gigs, fans have been speculating over who will be the opening acts. So far, support has only been announced for the North American leg – which will see Cage The Elephant join the line-up.

Last month, Liam Gallagher said he was seeking “established acts” to appear on the bill. The frontman has since suggested that Manic Street Preachers and Richard Ashcroft could take on opening slots.

Following rumours, Blossoms spoke to NME about the possibility of supporting Oasis at their Live ’25 dates too. It currently looks unlikely that Suede or Fontaines D.C. will be on the line-up after Liam hit out at both bands online.

In other news, Liam has said that he and Noel have no plans to do any interviews together, told fans that a new Oasis album was “already finished”, and took aim at the recent sketch about them which featured on Saturday Night Live.
