The new visual, released today (October 21) at midnight KST, marks the second track off the K-pop boyband’s recent mini-album ‘Spill The Feels’ to receive a music video. The project was led by title track ‘Love, Money, Fame’ featuring DJ Khaled, and was first released on October 14.
The ‘Eyes On You’ video pays homage to the 2014 sci-fi film I Origins, as it spins a tale of intense, determined love as SEVENTEEN promise to find each other again even in the face of death. “Eyes on you, eyes on me / When I hold your hand so tight / Eyes on you, eyes on me / I want to know you, day and night,” they croon on the chorus.
In a glowing four-star review of the new album, NME’s Rhian Daly praised ‘Spill The Feels’ as “an unwavering commitment to spreading hope, joy and love, all via addictive and affecting music”.
“‘Spill The Feels’ marks SEVENTEEN’s first release of their 10th year and a new era for the group that’s already seen them perform the biggest shows of their career and break new boundaries for themselves and K-pop as a whole,” she added.
Following the release of ‘Spill The Feels’, SEVENTEEN are slated to embark on the US leg of their 2024 to 2025 ‘Right Here’ world tour, in stadiums and arenas across the US. SEVENTEEN will then bring their tour to Asia in January and February 2025, with five concerts across four countries.
Prior to the album’s release, Pledis Entertainment announced that members Jeonghan and Jun will not be participating in promotions for the mini-album and the group’s world tour.
The former has since enlisted for his mandatory two years of military service, while Jun has returned to China to pursue other endeavours, which include several acting projects.
